Hi! I'm looking to see if any other mature students are on here that will be applying for next year. I'm 27, international, and applying for ancient history. Any others?

    Hey there!

I'm not a mature student, but I know people who are! I believe there is a network for mature students which you can join when you begin University. Here is a link to their page:

    http://www.su.nottingham.ac.uk/organ.../mature/about/

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/UoNMatureStudents/

They probably host events and meet-ups so that you can talk to other mature students

I applied this year but have deferred my entry so I'll be starting my course in 2015. I'll be studying German and English (provisionally..I'm having doubts about the English part of my course so we'll see what happens). I'm 24, so I'll be 25 by the time I start.

Well then maybe I'll see you there. Not in classes, but around. I'll be 28 by the time I start.

I've just turned 25 and I'll be starting at Nottingham in 2015. I'll be studying physics with theoretical physics so I won't be on your course - But it's nice to know there are other "mature students".

Definitely different from ancient history. Haha. But it's good knowing I won't be the only "old" student.
