Can't for the life of me think of this word Watch

    I can not think of this word and it's on the tip of my tongue.

    It's a word used to describe personal stories or events that have happened to you, typically the type of stories the best man tells at a wedding speech.

    I think it might be a slightly french sounding word?

    I'm sorry I know it's not much to go on but it is driving me insane not getting this word and google was no help so thought I'd try my luck here.

    The phenomenon is sometimes called presque vu, in same sense as deja vu and jamais vu.
