Huddersfield Bursary and Scholorship

I just logged into student finance direct, under 'View Correspondence' you should see a letter about the scholorship if you are entitled to it.

I have recieved full £1,000, and the payment date of which I will recieve this money is 31st of this month!

I get the £1000 too, but strangely I recieve mine in two payments, one on 10/1/07 and the other on 25/4/07. So it looks like I won't be getting mine until next year! Oh well.

mine is in two installments aswell but they are both on the same day.

It is weird! Are you in 'Huddersfield Grant Band 1'?

yeah I am in band 1.

I'm in! £1000 grant paid on 10th January and 25th April (£500 each). Guessing its like that because we get our main loans in September and those are to "see us through".

It says its been posted so we should have mail tomorrow or Wednesday :smile:

log in and on your left there is a navigational menu, click on 'View Correspondence' to see a list of documents that have been scanned (letters between you and student finance.). You should find that your latest letter is the one about the scholorship.

mine doesnt say anything? i should be entitled to the full amount, but all it says is 'HEBSS Entitlement Letter A'... is that it? :/

Ur.......I think if you click on the little red icon thing next to that title (i can't remember if it says PDF or Adobe, i'm technologically challenged.) then it will open up the letter which says how much you will get. I think.

Or click GIF (I think it is) and it shows you a scanned pic of the letter :smile:

hmm it says unable to retrieve the document at this time. oh well, I'll just wait for it to arrive by post, or I might try again later :tongue:

Try it later on. Their server wasnt playing nice earlier so it might just be too many people on.

Ive looked on the website and when I log in there is no letter there for me, so not sure what it going on.

Nope, havent got owt from them lately apart from confirming the change in bank details (shifted it to put everything in Natwest account). Got my rail card last week though :smile:
