    Hello

As a 19 year old, i'm having a mid life crisis. Everyone at this age has already finished their First year in uni, whilst i've have wasted a year being a sacked in several Street fundraising jobs/ Being brainwashed in Commission only sales jobs.

It's likely i'm going to Westminster Kingsway College to study BTEC Level 3 Music (something i did 3 years ago again ) after 10 Failed attempts of getting onto an access course.

Cut the long story short, i dont ****ing won't to do the whole ****ing two year course because i cant stand these little ghetto/chavs in these colleges, so i'm wondering if i did a course for a year in which i get a BTEC Subsidiary diploma, will it get me to a foundation degree/HND in music

We go to school/colleges to learn to get to the next part of education. Sorry you didn't get in to the access courses and obviously having particular social groups at colleges aren't your thing but maybe just stick it out as really you're there to gain the qualifications? (Similar thing happened with my sister but she stuck it out and now she's at City of London uni doing a degree in music and performance).

Find any other colleges that you can commute to with the same/similar course that will allow you to go to uni.

Yes it sucks massively that everyone has gone to uni but trust me, it isn't 'everyone' even mature students are there and all at one point we may experience the student life but once you get the degree you've always wanted then that's what matters and it was all worth it, you can do it OP
