Why are people silent about Zimbabwe? When South Africa was practising apartheid, everyone condemned it in the harshest possible terms and deeds (quite rightly). Why the double standard? Zimbabwe is just as oppressive under this clown.

It's fascinating to think Mugabe has been in power for so long. And also surprised he hasn't been assassinated. And disappointed.

It just goes to show, the West only look to 'intervene' when it's directly linked to national interest.

What people fail to realise is that Zimbabwe once had some of the most fertile soil in the world, where you could get 3 croppings a year (we can normally only get 1). However since the white farmers began to be removed the soil quality reduced dramatically due to poor farming practices. If Zimbabwe lose all their white farmers, they will starve and he will be the fall of his own country.
