Recently i found out that when studying as a midwife you only get 7 weeks holiday a year which made me panic a bit. Does anyone know what it is like to study Mental Health Nursing?

I think it will depend on your university, I am going to do child nursing at Glasgow caledonian and from what I have heard we get two weeks at Xmas and 3 in sept.

Most nursing courses are 45 weeks long. 2 weeks off at xmas, 2 at Easter and then 3 in the summer holidays.
Id never double check with your uni in particular though.

The vast majority of nursing courses will be 45 weeks long with only 7 weeks holiday. I don't think you'll find much variation.

Generally 7 weeks whilst you're studying. Then once qualified it's usually 28 days a year with extra being added with time served.

We get about 6 weeks official holiday but about 10 study weeks which you rarely do anything in unless you need to resist exams or assignments
