Hi I hope someone can help me, I am a mature student (44) who is looking to go to Uni to do a BA Hon in Event Management.

I have been told there are spaces at my local uni for September, I need 260-300 Tariff points.

I completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering Services (Plumbing) in 2009. I am trying to work out how many points this is worth as it was a Level 3 qualification.

Can anyone help at all please?

Hello bubble999 I have had a look at this table but I can't make sense of it I've got my certificates but I'm not seeing it anywhere on the table?

Does the certificate have City & Guilds on it?

I think it must have a similar equivalent to the table which lists C&G Land based services.

Is there anything which states diploma etc. on it. Might need to seek further clarification on it as it's not directly listed there.

Mature students are usually considered on a case-by-case basis rather than by UCAS points. If you haven't spoken to the Admissions Tutor, then that should be your next step. Only they can decide whether your qualifications and life experience are sufficient. They may require you to complete an Access course first as your most recent course of study was 5 years ago.
