This is not a troll post even if it might sound like it and I wish it was. My friend next door to me has been having sex for the past week. He has a new girlfriend what I gather. So I hear them have sex at various times throughout the day. Last night, I could hear her screaming and moaning and I sighed  and went back to sleep. Then again this morning she was screaming, and this afternoon , and now she is moaning again. I don't think that they know I can hear them because he hasn't said anything to me about it and I feel embarrassed for her and him.

It's annoying when I'm reading and then suddenly I hear a load of screaming and moaning...

What the hell can I do about this?

    Maybe he's torturing her.

Bet you'll feel bad when they announce her death on the news.

We both have our bedroom window open, which means I can hear them at my door and at the window.

Ask if there's room for one more? Sounds like she's having a good time You either confront him with it you keep shut and playyour music loud either through your speakers or headphones to muffle the sound...

I was happy for him but then it got out of hand. I've been hearing him have sex all year.

The sex does not concern me, it is the NOISE that does. He could be drilling, or hammering, or vacuuming, it is the same as I am very sensitive to noise.

I already have a girlfriend but he's a few years younger than me and it's new to him and he can't get enough of it.

Sorry you have to go through this but what do you actually want to do ? Call the police and tell them your neighbour is having loud sex ? They're probably going to think your pathetic.

If you get him alone have a quiet word and say your doing it right but could you quiet it down plz

This is a very common experience. There's only three real options: tell him/her; have sufficient sex, or make noise otherwise, that they realise the noise pollution they've been making for you; get a new room. I would do the first one casually, or maybe the second as a joke.

I know that won't happen because even I know that when you're having sex, you don't think about 'being quiet'. He's not the problem, it's his girlfriend who is.

I feel that I am in a dirty brothel which is not what I expect to hear at University.

If it's annoying just say something to him, be civil about it and I'm sure he will be. Coming on tsr and complaining isn't going to get you any results.
