The clever ones clearly go to Loughborough and Nottingham over Leicester :holmes:

Watching it on C4+1 right now. Feel sorry for Lauren, that's essentially how I was at the start.

I watched it and I fear I will be in Lauren's position. It was horrible what she went through during Freshers' Week

    I watched it.

I felt sorry for Lauren and on twitter there were a lot of nasty comments about her from other students/people. The general consensus about university is that you will go there get drunk and make loads of new best mates but those students who don't conform to this routine will be left on the sidelines. It was clear Lauren was the sort of person who would find it hard to make friends instantly. Especially when her friendship with Daniel fizzled out because she kept texting him constantly about how sad she was. However I can see why he pulled away from her - because she finds it hard to make friends, as soon as someone shows interest in being her friend she became too clingy. I'm glad she eventually found her niche in the Labour Party Society though.

Josie - very contradictory: she's Catholic but likes one night stands? I suppose she's the sort of girl who loves the attention of boys getting with her and sleeping with her only not when it backfires on her and her reputation.

Aiden - I'm sorry but how is getting an STD considered 'banter'? What a tool of the highest order.

Was absolutely hilarioussss. Felt sorry for Lauren. But at the same time she was way too clingy to that Daniel guy. And she took the Nazi thing way over the top and just totes blew it out of proportion. In my opinion anyway. In the first few days she really isolated herself however happy that she got good friends and stuff in the end.

Josie...Lol! I just didnt get her but glad she changed herself and she was happier and stuff

    Mads plain irritated me.

Aiden, meh, irritating as. He tried to be "cool" and popular... This isnt highschool mate.

Still the whole show made me look forward to uni

I'm exactly the same. I'm similar to her in a lot of ways, and it was in tears realising I might be like this!

Josie - She's a weird one, she was one night crying because she couldn't pull anyone, and when she does she start's being omg I can't believe we did it omg I'm never doing it again for ages!!11 type of person to annoy me tbh

Lauren - she's clingy and meh, her texts to Daniel were unbearable, felt sorry for her because she's not the usual kind of girl, happy she found her place in Labour Society though

Aiden - he seems like an ok guy to be with tbh, tries too hard though, cringed when he told Josie to get checked out

Seriously itl be fine dont other think thngs. I know loads of ppl that were tee total- me myself i dnt really drink cos i dnt like the taste and dnt like getting drunk doesnt mean i didnt like nights out. It can be annoying being around drunk ppl as often ur stuck being the one that pulls ur friend away from the creppy guy but it can b fun too as u get to watch the others make fools of themselves. Seriously when she started crying in the pubcrawl. Really? She even admitted herself that she had no reason to. And u can still make friends even if u dnt go out. !

Just like Lauren, I'm not really the type to get drunk every night, it will be a very weird experience for the both of us! We'll have to hope we get the same outcome as her finally settling in

Just watched it and it's actually reassured me about going to uni in September, glad I watched it. Does anyone know if it's a series with future episodes or just a one-off?

God, I'm so sure Lauren has an account on TSR I'm sure shes the kind of person to post here. She is just so annoying, "me me me me me, wahhh wahhh, I dont drink, here are some depressing quotes for twitter, daniel i'm lonely, daniel lets go for a walk so I can tell you how much i hate life." I understand everyone doesn't want to join the mainstream uni culture, that's fine but her approach to this was so wrong. Even at the start when shes at the bottom of the stairs, this is just so passive agressive I find - go and socialise, or politely ask to get through to your room you awkward little girl.

Aiden is just a massive douche, being a "LAD!" - people like this get annoying fast... Josie is your typical modern day Christian, visits church in times of despair, later that week goes out and gets her brains smashed out by boys she just met...Now lets get onto "Mads" or "Madz" what a terrible nickname for starters... pretty much just an average girl really I haven't got much to say for her. Daniel well done to you mate for tolerating Lauren as long as you did, you're a real nice chap and you done the right thing telling her to jog on after she got far too clingy. Also that Nazi pre-drink game wasn't really funny
