    I'm doing a past paper and having trouble on this question:

    Suggest why rates of percolation vary:
    a) from basin to basin
    b) over time

    Any help will be greatly appreciated

    Lol that's the kind of thing I would write! Not forgetting "and things" of course.

    I don't know, that might be the answer but I probably couldn't make it make sense. Grr I blame my stupid teacher, I havent learnt anything in geography this year!

    I think the geology is definately a reason why it varies from basin to basin because some rocks are more porus than others and "all that"...

    Have you got a revision guide or something to look at?

    On the subject of stupid teachers my maths teacher hasn't taught me a thing for 3 years! and then he tries to take the credit for my coursework and exam marks and stuff... :mad:
