# Sequence -A.P. & G.P watch

1. A sequence of numbers is formed by adding together corresponding terms of an A.P. and a G.P. with a common ratio of 2. The first term of the sequence is 48, the second term is 73 and the third term is 128. Find the fourth term. Write down an expression, in terms of n, for the nth term of the sequence.

What is the question means?

The first few terms of the GP are: a, 2a, 4a, 8a....

The first few terms of the AP are: b, b+d, b+2d,...

Form and solve some equations.
