Barefoot people at work

Any of you noticed this time of year when you work in an office suddenly there is an epidemic of people (mainly girls) who think its a good idea to walk around with nowt on their feet?

Two girls every day when they both arrive here both remove their shoes and spend the entire working day walking around in barefeet. I think its very unprofessional and a bit disgusting considering the carpet here isn't exactly clean and is infested with fleas.

Now I'm not the office gestapo and I'm all for people being comfortable but has anyone else had to put up with these sorts of people? Or are some of you reading this are guilty of this vile habit?

I'm still scarred from seeing one of them sitting cross legged on their chair and seeing a glimpse of her feet covered in hairs and dirt.... omg major vom yuck.
