    Hi.

Wondering how hard others found the exams onto Access courses and how well you have to do to get accepted.

I really felt I struggled but then I didn't have a clue what would be in them. Also I didn't want to swat up in case it gave a "false reading".

I was pleased that applying for science I didn't have too many essays (as nursing and humanities did), but I found the maths very hard. The science bit was ok as multiple choice. Then we had to write 500 words on a subject which was very broad. I managed a couple of sentences before my brain had dried up.

Colleges are all different, but at mine, you had to score 60% or more in the maths and English tests, and write a short essay which was a kind of dry run for our personal statements.

    I hope you did ok.
