    Hi guys,

Thinking about not going back to uni in September and my overdraft is completely maxed, just wondering what happens to my student account will I get a certain time period to pay it off interest free, or will it be gaining interest as soon as I tell them i'm not going back to university.

    Appreciate any help cheers

I'm not sure what happens if you drop out. However if you graduate they generally reduce your interest-free overdraft by a certain amount per year over three years or so after graduation. Mine by £500 a year from £1,500 at graduation (though I didn't use it).

You should definitely call your bank to see what their policy is for drop outs.
