As an avid gamer i definitely want to bring a console to uni. I already own a gaming PC which i will be bringing; but as i own PS4, PS3, WII U (and 360 but i don't play it anymore) i'm not sure what to take with me, ideally all of them but i know that's silly. What should i take with me?

I'd recommend whichever has the best local multiplayer based on the games you own. Then you can at least game socially as well as on your own on the PC. Me and my friends had some great fun after exams were over playing old gamecube games on a PC-based emulator last term

(I'd also advise against bringing a whole TV and console, but you seem decided).
