Well it is different to Gumtree by a long shot. Gumtree is simply advertising. This is set up with the intention to exchange in an easy format ( as well as sell). It also has the uni specific shop.

In terms of returns, I haven't looked into that yet. I am just in the thinking stage. I want to know if it is a good idea.

There are way too many sites that let you exchange things for anyone to want to use a new and unknown one...And won't you need permissions from the university or something?

If you are to make it profitable you will need a lot more cash but to be honest i dont think the idea is all that great.

You'd be better just getting a summer job if you don't have any feasible business plans

Can't get one this year due to medical reasons. Always liked the idea of a business venture.
