I suffered from insomnia during the exams, I myself would consider it fairly mild. I probably got about 3 hours sleep the night before most of my exams however I'm not really sure it affected my performance massively *fingers crossed*. A lot of people seem to have been experiencing insomnia during the exam period. I also have friends who have suffered from panic attacks in the exams. I'm not utterly sure but you could have a read up on what things are considered extenuating circumstances. I would say it was probably all induced by the stress of university, obviously retakes are a more distinct option in year 12 so it didn't quite push you to what occurred this year.

On a general note, I have my fingers crossed for you that you did better than you think. Furthermore, if you need someone to stress/talk to I'm a reasonable listener...for a guy xD. I would suggest that you try to enjoy the rest of the summer holiday ahead of you. Hopefully your performance at AS will have brought you up to a reasonable level. There are some fantastic universities that aren't oxbridge. But off of the topic of university, I dunno. You aren't alone, is all I can really say to you.
