On the UCL page it says for the entrance require to for economics, "A*AA at A2 level in the first sitting", does this mean not a single module is allowed to be retaken for admission? This seems quite harsh, also is there any way they could find out if you were to retake one maths module for example?

I think what they mean is that you can retake modules but you can't retake a whole year.

    2 years = 1 sitting

Btw one of my friends has an offer to do Economics at UCL and he retook a history exam.. I am pretty sure it is fine to retake modules.
