I work in a small startup consisting of 15 staffs. Within a span of 2-3 months, 20% of the staff left the company. Do you think this is a bad sign for the place?

Why did they leave and what were their positions?

Stability I think. Most of them are mid to senior staffs (who have worked in some other places before). The startup is quite young; less than 2 years.

Like a roller coaster; but this coaster doesn't go that high.

Tell your manager or whoever is above you that you're a bit worried that 3 senior staff just left and you would like to know how secure you job is. They may lie but it's worth a try.

How would this help me? I'm pretty sure they'd do that : /

Well you go and speak to them and they'll either say your job is at risk (probably the truth) or you job is safe (probably the lie). At the end of the day they know how the business is going better than any of us.

What kind of start up is it? (What do they do?)
