I'm in year 10 and i was wondering whether i should start my maths revision in the 6 week holidays because i'm terrible at maths : (.. It wouldn't even be revising i'd be learning new things ; is it possible that i can go from a D to a B or an A in the holidays if i worked really hard? Is it possible to go through the whole course in 6 weeks? Also, how much should i do every night? thanks....

Yeah definitely, it is possible to improve significantly if you're willing to put in the hard work. Just put in the effort, and hopefully you will see the better results

Get the Mathswatch Higher tier CD and use this website: http://www.examsolutions.net

Practise the individual topics, as long as you understand the fundamentals, this knowledge can then be applied to any form of GCSE maths question. Good luck. Go for an A*!

Of course it's possible to climb the grades if you try

Like the poster above, MathsWatch is a very good collection of clips showing you how to do certain things in about a 3 minute video. Of course there are also lots of YouTube videos too which can help you

It is most definitely possible. I speak from experience. I was a D grade at Christmas, and am expecting an A* when I collect my results in august. However, you need to be prepared to put lots of work in. You will get out what you put in.

You can do it if you're really committed. I'll be getting my Math's results in August - Just praying that I won't have to retake in Year 11!
