I've got a few questions I would like to ask regarding my application.

    1. I have applied through Extra and have got a conditional offer. I've put this as my firm but if I withdraw this place now (before results day) can I apply again through Clearing somewhere else?

    2. If I meet the conditions on results day but no longer want to attend that university, can I withdraw ON RESULTS DAY and apply through Clearing?

Thank you in advance for any help!

You can only apply through clearing AFTER you have rejected the offer you received in Extra. If you are sure you don't want the latter, then contact the university and say you don't want to go so they release you now. Otherwise you could waste hours or even days trying to get released on/after results day, by which time the best clearing places will have gone.

    1) Yes, clearing is for anyone with no offers on results day
    2) Yes but bare in mind it can take a university a while to release you on results day as they will be very busy and you won't be able to go for top pickings in clearing
