Does anyone know the under 18s pay rate for Marks and Spencer? Watch

    i'm 17, and got a job there today wooo!
    It's a temporary summer job, I was wondering if anybody knew the hourly wage rate.

    I worked there starting last summer and was on £6.81/hr as far as I can remember, and was 17 for the first few weeks. I think the starting payrate for over/under 18s is identical.

    At 18 its roughlt 7.50
    For 16 its probz 6.69 or something

    my first day is next friday, and my training day is on monday.

    I currently work at M&S and have been for a month and a bit, I'm 16 and get paid £6.67 as a temp. You don't get paid any higher regardless of age until you are fully trained then it'll be £7.10 if you're permanent staff

    Nope im permenant on a part time contract.
    It was shattering! Stood brhind the till most of the day.

    it's good pay! My training is tomorrow and i'm not quite sure what to expect. Don't know if I should just wear smart sixth form type of clothes, or like formal black trousers

    Wear smart black clothing. Where is your training. Don't worry all your gonna do is fill in some forms and watch videos all day.

    It's tomorrow! I only have one day training and I've filled out all the paperwork already (I think), I spent like half an hour.
    And I think I should be able to get away with a posh dress and a blazer haha

    No I haven't, apparently it's two days training rolled over into one! I'm scared haha what if I can't use the till?!

    would the booklet really take from 9-5 lol

    Naah it wont. Trust me the first half hour youll be abit bad. I remeber i was rubish!!!. Then my colleague was like watch in half an hour. Now im ok but i still do make odd mistakes here and there. Dw no one will shout at you. Btw bakery is a piss take when tou have to select the product
