Great list but I wouldn't choose the Redux version of Apocalypse Now over the original. It just seem unnecessarily long to me.

Also OP you should go watch Pusher (Danish version), I watched it recently and thought it was great. Oh and Dirty Pretty Things was another good one I watched recently.

Redux is the only one that should be watched, it gives you the sense of how long they were in the god forsaken jungle and why it could send someone mad. And it did send Martin Sheen mad, which is shown in the film in the very famous hotel scene.

    No Country For Old Men

    There Will Be Blood

    Cold Mountain

    Pan's Labyrinth

    The Devil's Backbone

    Sin City

    Watchmen

    Inglorious *******s

    Machete

    Machete Kills

Hobo With A Shotgun (it may sound terrible but it is awesome in every single way)

Rubber (the story of a tire with a psychic ability, incredible film)

    Moon

    The Prestige

    City of God

    V for Vendetta

    Snatch

If you can't find a film to watch in this list, you have zero taste in films.

If you want to Watch something with a bit of backbone, go for 12 Years a slave, or Lincoln

    Other than that:

    The Dark Knight

UP - I don't care how old I am, i love this movie
