I'm starting sixth form in September and I am still unsure on what 4 a levels I want to do. I had decided on English Combined, Philosophy and ethics, history and psychology but I'm unsure on whether to take Law in place of psychology. Have any of you taken any of these subjects or what do you recommend, which combination would you suggest?

I would keep the history, it is a respected A-level. Not sure about Law and Psychology, I would pick one your most likely to enjoy. Best of luck.

I'd advice you to not take law at all. It's considered to be a 'soft' subject and isn't respected by universities. Your current combination is well balanced. You've got three respected subjects (english, history, philosophy and ethics) and one softer subject (psychology). But you've also got to take into consideration what you'd like to study at university as certain subjects are required for certain courses.
