I stopped being a sub and my inbox immediately started rejecting PMs. It had 1150 messages in it.

I've trimmed this below 1000 but it is still rejecting, telling senders that it is full. How many messages can I have in my inbox for it to be full as a non-sub please.

    Thanks for any info.

Mine goes up to a little over 500... You might want to keep deleting

Heck. Is there a way to do a bulk deletion, not just one page at a time, but of a whole bunch of pages?

Unfortunately not  This was raised with the community team a few months ago (when the changed format came in), but I'm not aware of any plans having been made for a fix.

Ohhh. Is there a way for a Mod to purge the whole thing for me?

It's 600 And no, but it only takes 2 clicks to delete each set of 50.

I'm busy. Still, 600 doesn't sound quite as daunting.

It's just a one off problem really after you were a sub for ages before, came back to the site, and realised you didn't want to waste your dollas.

You get into the habit of deleting them in lil batches after that

Which takes a long time when you have over 1,000

Mods no, admin (community team) yes, I think.

However, if you're very sure that you want to get rid of all of your PMs, try these links:
Expand tag to avoid accidental clicking

THESE MAY NOT REQUEST CONFIRMATION - I don't intend to test this myself.

    I've done some manually now.

Yeah, it was a bit of a chore, because I wanted to keep some messages on quite a few pages, so it was more than just a few clicks per page.

Perhaps, but it's unnecessary, especially when bulk deletion functionality is native to vBulletin but has been removed from the interface by TSR's design.

Those will not work on tsr iirc. Not intending to try it myself however.

Neither of those links work for me.

Try going from a limit of 65k to one of 10k.

Why wouldn't they? The links always used to be present prior to the redesign.

Ah, they needed a slight tweak. Now they will.

Oh, and they do request confirmation.

Well, your post suggested that you had reason to believe that TSR had removed the native functionality. As above, the links do work.

    Confused
It's still in the forum's back-end functionality, but not in the user interface unless I've missed something. Sorry if that wasn't clear!

There is a way of deleting all messages in a given folder (inbox, sent messages, etc.) at once. I have recently downloaded and subsequently deleted all of them to make space. See the image (you need to click on that ‘Edit folders’ bar to get the rest of the options):
