Hi, I'm looking to open a Junior ISA account to hopefully build up my savings as in my present savings account I am receiving a abysmal interest rate.

I am 16 years old, so not sure what opportunities I am eligible for.

Any advice enlightening the subject or regarding which bank/type of account would be best is great.

    Thanks

At 16 you should be able to apply for a cash ISA.

Thanks! Do you know what the benefits of opening one of these opposed to a junior account? I know the limit you can put in is higher but I wouldn't reach the limit on a junior account.

That gives you some information on a junior ISA. According to that link, you can open one if you're under 18, which I didn't know!
