what is the general consensus on girls at leicester? are they good looking? what is the ehnic breakdown of girls at leicester university? wher are most staying? do all the rooms have wireless internet access?
My girlfriend (sort of, complicated over summer situation) was in the room above me in Beaumont and she is totally awesome so I'm pretty chuffed with the whole girls at leicester situation
More generally - what do you expect? There are all sorts of different people there, yes there are lots of very fine girls of all different ethnicities, I guess the greatest variety youll find is in the catered halls, they all tend to be fairly eclectic. I dont think the rooms have wireless acess, you'll need to buy a network cable for like I think £5.
All rooms have internet (broadband), but you need a cable to connect. In the actual Uni, there are places that give you wireless, but I don't think it's readily available in halls.
Leicester as a whole is much more ethnically diverse than many places - and I think that's reflected in the University... but I can't say it really makes a difference to the university atmosphere... it's much the same as any other - different surroundings, different people, different lifestyle...

How about the rooms... On campus, what would it cost me to rent a room there, and do you have some practical information for me? I'm not a UK'er, but I am planning to study in Leicester for a semester next year, if everything goes right.

Otherwise just look through some past threads, theres lots of information about everything you mentioned within the last few threads.
