Is it possible to work and still get good AS grades?

I may be getting a part-time job in September, which will be Sundays and an after school or two, I guess. Will I still be able to get good grades? I volunteer one evening per week already and twice a month I do another activity related to my volunteering.

Has anyone worked through their A-Levels and still come out with good grades?

I think it would depend on how often you work and what other commitments you have.

I worked one weekend day a week and the odd after college day, studying 5 respectable AS subjects, and I got AABDE. Increased work hours at A2 and finished with ABB.

You just need to get the right amount of work/study balance and you'll do fine. Obviously, overload on the studying when needs be, but never overload on the work at all. Ideally, don't overload on either.
