Do any of you know of an insurance company that will cover an 18 year old driver for a soft-top car? I've tried a few already but they say you must be over 21.

The car is about 8-9 years old, Citroën C3 pluriel (so not even very sporty or anything). At the moment the only options available to us are either I simply don't drive, or we get a different car, but that's not a great option because the car is worth literally nothing (roof is broken so can't sell until roof is fixed, but fixing the roof would cost 1500-2000 pounds which is more than the car is worth)

SURELY there must be some insurers who will cover a soft top with a young driver? I've seen loads of rich kids get soft-top sports cars for their birthday....

    Do you mean a convertible...?
I've never noticed a difference with insurance for convertibles.

Just go on Gocompare and get a quote. remember to add experienced named drivers.
