IGCSEs for medicine

Hello,

I was wondering if these IGCSE scores are competitive enough for medical schools in the UK. Since I got my IB results (39 points overall) I was looking to maybe applying to Imperial.

Below are my results:

Science (double award with bio, physics and chem) A*A
Religious Studies A
Business Studies A
English Language A
Economics A
English Literature A
Mathematics A
Arabic B

I know many students offer all GCSEs with A*s but Imperial and other unis have a minimum grade required for medicine (eg. Imperial requires GCSEs grades AAABB or above, in any order), which I have already fulfilled. Would this make us equally desirable or will those with all A*s be more likely to be picked?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
For Imperial, I think they just check if your GCSEs are above the minimum requirement. After that, they will use PS and BMAT score to invite people to the interview. So you should be equally desirable.

Though, make sure to ask the admissions about it, just to be safe.
