      Oh man, I'd forgotten all about those levels. Our school called them 8.5, 8.8 etc. I know I was working at 8.8 at some point, probably wasn't year 7 though.

      Once in the middle of Y11 mocks this kid that was doing the school play was talking to me and he was in like year 7 and he was really proud that he was working at an 8A or something in maths and he wanted to know what level I was working at and I was just like

      A* GCSE Maths and Stats taken at 13 years old(year 9). Anyone can get an 8A/B too...

      Done more than 2 and a bit years early.

      Levels mean absolutely 0, uni's don't care about them. Not a sense of achievement.

      8A year 8 anyway, and people here have done better.
