Firstly, as for my personal statement, I'm applying for Psychology to start Sept 2015. Do I have to mention the AS subject I'm dropping? It's film studies and I can't link it to Psychology...

Secondly, my GCSEs aren't great.. 2 Bs, 6 Cs, 1 D and a Pass in a 1 year ICT BTEC course...

There is absolutely no reason to waste words in your ps by talking about any of your A level subjects. Admissions tutors know exactly what you learn in your A levels and it tells them nothing at all about you as a person or why you want to study psychology, which is what a ps should be about. You have the required 5+ GCSEs at C or above, as long as 2 of them are in English and maths. Your predicted A level grades are the thing that will really swing it.

    This should help: http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...nal_Statements

You don't include any qualifications that you've already put on your UCAS Application.
