My Mum (50 something?) has just received her results for a BTEC style fashion course (I'll find out the name tomorrow) and has attained the equivelent of 3 A*'s

I'm wondering what what circumstances can she be entitled to a bursary? What are different unis offering in respect to that.

Every university offers its own bursaries with different criteria. You'll need to look at courses/ universities and check out the bursaries for each one. Many will have something based around low household income or academic excellence.

I don't believe there's a central system which lists them all.
