I recently received my letter with my maintenance allowance on it for my second year at uni. This hasn't taken into account my mothers income, even though she submitted her financial information just over a month ago. It says on the letter not to ring up as I will receive another letter in the post. Do I still need to sign the letter I have just been sent and return it or do I wait for another letter?

    Hi Anna,

Once your mother's evidence has been processed, we will issue a new entitlement letter to you.

However, we still require you to to sign and return the initial declaration form you have received, as this is required as evidence you accept our terms and conditions.

    Thanks
