I like The Band Perry, but I don't find that song too sad.

Try 'Where the angels sleep' be a Norwegian musician named Askil Holm. There is a video where he sing it at a funeral of a Utøya victim. The feels

    I prefer the original.

It reminds me of 2012 Spring. It got me through studying Jane Eyre.

My saddest songs ever are this

    and this

God no, I always found it to be very uplifting.

Edit:Also what you linked s a re-upload of the Justinrobinett version, but for some reason they knocked the key up four keysigs(I presume to try and get round copyright?..idiots)

Here is the original...notice how it sounds better?

I was just going to complain that the vocal tone is awful, and the beat too fast. But this original version is much better.

The lyrics don't make any sense though:

    bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
OK, so wrapped in satin, laid on a bed of roses. Can do that.

Sink me in a river at dawn
Well, not if you're buried I can't. And the roses would all sink of float off in a few seconds. MAKE UP YOUR MIND.

    My offerings:

I love the way it veers from sadness and despair to anger and bitterness:

Should be watched in the context of the film for best effect:

To me it varies one minute a cheerful song can really uplift me and then next I am like turn that bs off. The same goes with sad songs
