Hi, I'm going to Aberdeen Uni in September to study french and history. I have been told and read that first year modern language students are required to sit a placement test in September that sorts them into the correct strand i.e level e.g beginner, intermediate, advanced. I was just wondering what the test is like, how difficult you all found it and how easy it is to jump levels. I sat advanced higher french in may and I am hoping for a A/B so I have prior knowledge of french. Thank you
