The title pretty much sums it up. I'm going to Leeds fest and this will be my first festival, I didn't book a locker and although that seems stupid now there isn't really that much I can do about it as they're sold out. I'll be carrying my money and phone with me at all times in a zipped bag, but I was wondering, do people steal things such as clothes and makeup? And also, is it safe to leave them in the tent because really I don't want to be walking around for the remainder of my weekend in sweaty and likely very muddy clothes. Thanks

Pro-tip: Don't take anything you actually want to take home with you.

Nobody steals clothes. It's wallets and phones thieves are after.

Also I would say don't keep everything too tidy and do not make it look like you are keeping something of value in the tent. A padlock or something would suggest that their are items you want to protect. And keeping everything all neat and packed makes it convenient for thieves to just grab a bag in one fell swoop and take everything at once. Sounds illogical but I believe this is true. Plus if your tent looks like a dump thieves won't be so attracted to it.
