If you're in the UK, pretty much everywhere won't let you study A-Level Chemistry without a GCSE in it.

Most places wont let you take A level chemistry without a GCSE or equivalent in it. i have just completed chemistry and I found it very hard despite doing it at GCSE. I wouldnt recommend taking it. If the last time you did chemistry was in grade 9 then you will struggle. If you got bored of humanities subjects (despite preferring them in grade 9) then you might get bored of chemistry and the other subjects too. My advice would be to do a GCSE in it first, ensure you actually like the subject before spending 2 years of your life doing nothing else but those subjects.
