I just got a part time job at mcdonalds and my welcome meeting is in less than a week. The email says: "Plesae also bring your ID plus photo copy, bank details, NI number and a pen!"

This is on top of the asylum & immigration stuff. For that i have my birth certificate and national insurance number letter, as i don't have a passport. Because i don't have a passport i don't know what "please bring ID" means for me, like is my birth certificate AND the letter also proof of my ID?

I'm 16 so don't have a driving license or one of those age card things, so what ID can i bring? (someone said to me once that because i was my mum's emergency contact in her passport that was my id, but since it's just written in i'm not so sure)

    Please help! Thanks

If you don't have a passport or a driving licence, then a birth certificate will suffice. "Please bring ID" usually means a driving licence, a passport or a birth certificate.

Well done on the job, by the way
