Yes i have been searching for a new 15" laptop to purchase for gaming.

The requirements that i would want is :

    - 1920x1080 hd resolution
    - glossy screen (i cant deal with the grains that i could see on the matt)
-decent graphics card (preferably nvidia 740 or above , mainly want to be able to play counter strike global on high settings if not ultra and be kind of future proof for the next 2-3 years for the upcoming photoshops)
    -15" as mentioned before
-if possible a very bright screen too
    - £800 is max budget

Thank you very much , it will help me a lot.

One great way is that you might get the OS for free from your university. Be sure to ask them. Same with MS software.

Agree with the user directing you to PCSpecialist; I recently bought a great gaming laptop from them for £622. (I'll link my review + specs shortly). EDIT: Here's my review, with specs.

However, don't bother with an i7, an i5 is cheaper and more than good enough for gaming and uni performance; any benefits are almost non-existent (and yes, it's still future proof). You can get windows 8.1 for free from Dreamsparks, a Microsoft website - just make an account and register with your college or high school email address (ending in ac.uk). Then you can download Windows 8.1 Embedded Industry Pro free, which is the exact same thing as the standard 8.1 and is what I'm running (runs fine).

The higher spec i7 is quad core. Totally worth.
The dual core i7s aren't worth it though.

I have also recently purchased a laptop from PC Specialist, but a 17" Vortex IV.
Absolutely no issues, and loved that I could downgrade to Windows 7 as I absolutely hate Windows 8. I would prefer Mac OSX to Windows 8 by a long shot.

I have the Intel I7 Quad Core 2.7GHz, but I cannot compare it to Intel i5 as I have not used a machine with one. My desktop has an old AMD Phenom II X4 3.4GHz, I think the performance of the Intel I7 has similar performance.

With custom built machines you get more value for money, those in Currys and PC World seem to always have components that are about 2 years old. PC Specialist stock the latest. I highly recommend the company.
