Last week I deposited a cheque of a large sum and now it is showing up on my balance (Mobile app) as overdrawn by the amount. Why is this?

Does it actually say overdrawn or is there is Dr or Cr next to your balance? What does your statement say?

If you're under 18 they can't legally charge you for being overdrawn anyway as you're a minor and can't be given credit.

Have you spent the money or moved it to another account, because it sounds S if the cheque may have bounced.

Nope. Now there is no overdraft.

Also, the cheque I deposited was one from Nationwide so I doubt that it has bounced.
