I'm just wondering how often you tell your family/friends your love/care for them.

I barely tell my family that I love them, I do it like once a year for everyone.

I have told one of my close friends that I love her but she only says thanks... =/

I do have two other friends but I've yet to tell them how much I love them as I am scared of ruining what we have.

Not that often probably close to never, but they know I do even though I don't verbalise it

never. it's cheesy. i don't do sentimental, we're no that kind of family. however, there's a huge amount of respect and a feeling of gratitude and being indebted toward them.

Very rarely, maybe every 5 years. I don't think its something we feel needs to be said. I know they love me and they know I love them too, we've never felt the need to say it to eachother constantly.

That's just an awkward thing to say.

When I was still living with them, I used to tell my parents and sister 'love you' every night before I went to sleep and I tend to tell my close friends whenever the mood strikes me, heh. I'm a 'wears their heart on their sleeve type', obviously.

erm, i don't really tell them. It's just too awkward and cheesy. They know the feeling's there though so it's all good.

I find it a really uncomfortable thing to do even though I'm female and supposedly more expressive than my male counterparts-I blame it on my British mentality!!

I conclude Christmas and birthday cards with "Love, Jess" so I suppose that could be taken as a declaration

I also (sometimes) include kisses on messages but everyone does that I suppose

I try to tell my family, and particuarly my grandparents, that I love them when we part, by casually throwing in the phrase "love you" along with the more conventional "God bless, see you". But even that's impersonal as I don't even say that it's "I" who loves them

    In short, not enough!

Lol. I had to tell my mum to tell me that she loves me.

She said it but as she was walking out she went- 'not'.
