Who is looking forward to freshers week 2014?

What are you planning to do throughout the week?

Have you started planning costumes, for fancy dress parties?

Are you arriving early or on the official start of freshers (Sunday)?

I intend to be in Durham from the day I'm officially renting my halls, so I imagine I'll be there for the Saturday. Cannot wait to check out the studio 50p night, if it's still running. Fresher('?)s will be so sick!

Does each college do their own thing for it?

Each college runs their own events. There are also the big events ran by the students union, including the freshers ball, which is huge.

When exactly is fresher's week? Is it last week of September or first week of October? Either way I can't wait to be there!

Word of caution: Reports from this year's Fresher's Ball say that it was A) expensive and B) not worth the money.
