I am a member of tutor hunt as a tutor
I have been notified of a student that maybe of interest to me. However, I feel as though there are so many regulations on what you can and can't say I am unsure on how to send an enquiry, and what exactly to ask the parents.
Do I ask questions, such as where their child is having difficulty?
Or sell myself and offer my services?

It might be better to ask the questions first, to see if your services meet the students requirements, and if it seems like an opportunity, then sell your services?

It might seem a bit abrupt if you just barge in and sell your services.
