Those are some great film choices! :yep:

Same as ME! :five:

Woah, which are you missing?

Sunset Boulevard
It's a Wonderful Life
Singin' in the Rain
Paths of Glory
Rear Window
Lawrence of Arabia
Mary and Max

I suppose the retro ones that I require effort to watch :P
Got my numbers wrong - 57 (my bad).

Don't forget to go vote for your favourites as well. (this is all part of a giant competition in the movie madness forum)

I just spent the last 90 minutes making 16 more polls for Saturday morning so i want everyone to go vote/join in the discussion to make this worth my while!

Which films?

Fairly common today tbh. :yep:

Which films? singing in the rain is a Classic!

Which were they?

We've had as low as 3 a few times so far this thread.

Mine are:

Saving Private Ryan
Django Unchained
Star Wars Ep. 5 - The Empire Strikes Back
Alien
The Lion King
Monsters, Inc.
Finding Nemo

So 7 not 8....

I don't have the time for films which is a shame

Yea, they require hunting down the films. You voted in the current polls and commented etc?

I can hunt them down fairly easily - quite good at it by now (I like my films :P).

Current polls?

EDIT: Admittedly, the foreign films are a nightmare to get hold of online.

I think Django Unchained is one of the best i've seen. I do like the hobbit films too. The second one had too much shoddy CGI though and some strange gopro filmed scenes.

I've seen 34 and I'm not even a movie person  haven't watched any of the Fantasy and SF films

I'm challenging myself to watch them all now since I've watched a bunch already so I'm watching One Flew over the cuckoo's nest tonight

Shame I didn't sign up to vote...

Not a bad choice at all, a quality film.

I've also just gone and bought 6 of the 11 movies I've not seen at my local CEX!

Excellent dedication to the cause!
36 and I own a few of them
I'm only missing the following:

4. Dr. Strangelove
7. Singin' in the Rain
3. Casablanca

8. Paths of Glory
3. Once Upon a Time in the West

5. How to Train Your Dragon
6. Mary and Max

Somebody tell me why I should bother?
I've seen 32. Also I'm questioning why Spirited Away was not included here it's the highest rated animated film on IMDb and one of the highest on all other websites and many would argue it was better than all of the other animated films on the list  Other than that I would say the lists are pretty good.

Spirited Away was on the original list, in the Foreign Film group. It was a casualty of the decision to drop the FF group (and the films contained therein) altogether. It was a difficult decision.
There is no Mike Leigh film, none directed by Ken Loach, and Withnail and I is not there. Sacrilege!

Seen 44, don't really watch that many movies tbh.
I've seen 6, Shawshank redemption, Monsters Inc, Up , How to train your dragon, finding nemo and toy story 3. And half of a clockwork orange but that doesn't really count. I find movies kinda long and boring to sit through.
33
Lol I've seen all the cartoons and inception :colondollar: so thats only 9
I've only seen 12

None of group A,B,C,E or G

The majority of the ones I've seen were in group H haha

The Films

(Guessing everyone came in through popular discussions though)

Django unchained OR Shchindlers list?

Yep course I have.

Now that is dedication to the cause that will not be retrieved through my lacklustre offering of a cup of tea. I may even have to break the bank of a pack of hobnobs.

Check out how to Train your dragon. It's actually quite a cool story. It''s not the best cartoon out there but it's pretty darn good.
