I applied late for Mental Health Nursing at University of Cumbria (June). I have just had an extremely successful interview and my feedback was excellent. I ticked all the boxes, passed my numeracy and at the end of my feedback it states -

"From your interview performance, and in order to assist you in a future application, you are recommended to:

    There are no recommendations."

However, I have been told that I do not have a place and have been waitlisted and that they will get back in touch on 14th August. (Results day)

Has anyone been in this position before???

Nancy, from the sounds of it you applied after all the places were filled. However, some students don't meet their offers or simply decide against their initial choice even before the course begins, so if you are wait-listed there is a possibility that a place may become available for you around results day and you'll hear good news!
How are you feeling about your exams?
