Hi Tyga1. There are lots of opportunities for students to work around the campus. The Student Union employs students behind the bars, in the cloakrooms and as staff for the nights out in the Union. They also employ second and third year students as Fresher's Helpers during Freshers Week.

One of the other great ways to be employed by the Uni whilst studying is to become a Student Ambassador. They recruit at Freshers Fair and after Christmas break, so you can definitely get involved. Student Ambassadors help work events to promote the University and work closely with the Schools and Colleges team. You will have the opportunity to go out to schools and colleges to promote Bucks and higher education in general. We also use Student Ambassadors at our Open Days and there is always plenty of work during the summer for Clearing.

If you don't fancy working for the Uni, then both the Uxbridge and High Wycombe campuses are next to shopping centres with loads of shops. There are always plenty of part time vacancies in the shops. Our Careers Centre will certainly help to point you in the right direction.

    I hope this has helped!
