There is this big news going around all social media and YouTube that in the final World Cup Qualifier between Portugal and Israel, Ronaldo refused to swap his shirt with an Israeli player because "he doesn't swap shirts with assassins".

I (although supporting Palestine) find this highly suspicious and don't think this is true. The only news websites that have written about it are Muslim newspapers and none is very reliable. The YouTube link also doesn't show much either. If anything, it's another Portuguese player who he is walking past and nothing else.

There is no reliable source that this is true, but to my surprise pretty much 95%+ of the comments on that YouTube video believe it is legit and not a hoax. Yes, there are a lot of fakes that people believe, but this one is believed by SOOO many that I feel like I surely can't be the only intelligent person out there, can I?

    What do people here believe?

I believe that someone made it up and people believed it.

Well, the thing is there are far too many people in the world that blindly believe in things and start sharing them without arguing the reliability of it. One way of reducing that is to tell them when they are wrong and this is what I want to do to those friends of mine that haven't had the fortune of applying some common sense before simply sharing BS.
