In a partner, would you prefer your boyfriend/girlfriend to be obedient completely or would you like them to answer back if they disagree?

What do you mean by obedient? You make your boyfriend/girlfriend sound like a dog!

But in answer to the question, I'd like to have conversations about our differences.

If they're not the type to be aggressively stubborn then definitely to actually have a conversation / debate with.
If they're stubborn in a way that they couldn't admit they were wrong or couldn't have an argument without raising voices then that's just a huge turn off.

Obedience or answering back? That's like two ends of the spectrum lol. I like being able to have discussions with my bf, we have very different views on the fun things like religion/politics Even though we might not agree with one another, we respect one anothers differences.

Obedient as in they do what you tell them to do without argument.

I'd like them to talk to me when they disagree, not just obey that's a massive turn off

I was under the impression that a big part of relationships was being equals? Obedience implies one has authority other the other. I'd look for obedience in a dog, but definitely not in a partner (unless you were planning on training them?). Anyway, in both cases I rate loyalty higher than obedience.

So like a dog then? Er no, definitely not then! I couldn't even contemplate on how boring that would be! :0
