    Hey all

I got my graduation ceremony next week and planning on buying a 3-piece suit. The gown is black I believe and has purple/lilac colour to it. Would black be the ideal colour or should I go with dark grey?

Black suits are for funerals, undertakers and waiters.

You shouldn't be worrying about the contrast (or not) with your gown.

haha really I've seen plenty of people wear black probably because if it gets too hot and decide not to wear the full suit you can still wear black trousers with the gown.

Black clothing always looks dreadful except on funeral directors. Dark Grey is far more wearable, attractive and useful.

Right, it seems like I'll definitely have to get rid of black as an option Dark grey, charcoal or similar is what I should be looking at
